GM for Bill Davis Racing, Mike Brown, confirmed that several meetings have been held with Jacques to discuss him competing in  the Car of Tomorrow race at Phoenix International Raceway on the 11th November.
 
"We've talked to Jacques about it, and he wants to do it and we want to do it," Brown said of adding Phoenix.
 
"We're kicking it around, and we really want to do it."
 
JV will also participate in the Atlanta two-day CoT test to get in some testing time at a track similar to Phoenix.
 
JV has experience in racing an open-wheel car so it's not a completely unknown entity to him.
 
"We're just looking for that one true test for him," Brown added.

The 36-year-old will drive in the remaining NASCAR Craftsman Truck series races this year and next season in the BDR Cup series.
