Following his successful debut test for Bill Davis Racing in a Toyota Tundra, Jacques is expected to test again next week at the Kentucky Speedway and then, on September 10 and 11, at Talladega.

The programme is designed to give JV as much preparation as possible before his much-anticipated race debut on September 22 when he is scheduled to make his first career NASCAR start in the Craftsman Truck Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

He will then complete the season for BDR, and could also make an appearance in the NEXTEL Cup Series.

"We're planning on running him in the last seven truck races, starting in Vegas," a spokesperson for Bill Davis Racing confirmed. "It's possible he may run a Nextel Cup car at the end of the year."
